#1 Sniperzon - 0/0 costs 10. plays from stash, self destruct after 1 turn. Deals zero dmg. Brings much shame

Crabcrew - ally to hawkgang. Same shit but for sorcs. If crabcrew and hawkgang are currently in play then end game

pm snipe- take card from merchant deck. play at 1/4 the cost, or sell to opponent for triple nerd points

Honestly, IF there were ever going to be a d2 Card game i think the most viable would have aspects of mtg a yugioh mixed, but would probably be more like mtg

Anyways, rules would be something like
Have one starter hero (but can be played w/ 1-4 heroes, max 4 each player)

Each hero would have different stats for the roles and deck style play. Clearly, you’d have aggro builds, support builds, etc. deck building would become interesting when playing more than 1 hero when you take into consideration card limit.

The different types of cards would be: items cards, equippable items that boost stats and give effects to hero... consumable items would be interesting to have as well, but would clearly need to be limited so they can’t be abused.
Mana cards, similar to magic cards that are needed to cast spells
Spell cards, the list of d2 skills that can either buff your heros are dmg opponent.

Monster cards could be interesting. Thought I’m not 100% how it would be incorporated. If monster cards are part of the deck, then it would be like commander mtg? And the hero is the deck master? Idk.

Thanks for the ideas , I have not gathered enough to construct the rules or core mechanic but I can tell you that it will include alot of what you mentioned in regards to mtg and yugioh along with some other mechanics from other tcg.

Characters cards with the orange out line are similar to fusions.

The characters with out mana are support characters, similar to actual heroes with mana but can not perform advanced functions.

Cards with a black out line are similar to spells/traps cards.

Cards with a crystal blue out line are similar to spell/trap cards but specific to a character and with a much greater effect.

What would you like to see as a character card?
