i never did, just gave them a name that wouldn't be copied. left them on the 9 day to expire red text. so when blizzard added the deletion of chars after expiration i lost a LOT. only lost 1-2 duelers tho

No I didn’t, I actually lost my jewel acct because of that 🤣🤣🤣. All of west jewels poofed. When blizz started deleting expired stuff none of my stuff poofed thankfully.

what got me was the "shadow deletion" where you'd join a game on a mule that had XX days to expiration in white text. but if u didnt change the game files it would delete anyways even though on char screen the expires goes away....

all they had to do was code it right and everyone would have figured it out in a day, instead it was a while before someone confirmed how to perm mules...

I had a few strongly worded emails with their staff over that. Apparently if you create a new character on the account it should refresh the others and show the correct expiry.
