this. in vlld u can only get +min or max effectively from jewels. so u want to maximize it on those. u can make up stats on charms if need be

if u use a sigons shield build u need reqs there, and 2-4 reqs jewels in your AA, beyond that raw dmg bestest.

just a sad reality that 4 mod raw dmg jewels spawn like once a ladder lol

8-14 dmg is possible for lv 9. KindA silly

truly a gross jewel. and its still best in slot for many items even at 18 afaik. i dont think a higher raw dmg jewel can spawn for an 18 rare

yeah now they do, couple years back almost everyone had them on their pickit lists which was naice. too bad things changed. im still sitting on a 19 ed/4-13 dmg jewel that doesnt have a quality enough complement to go in a sac stick. ironically ive though to put in an 18 melee weapon haha since its > 20/15 max

and yeah 8-14 beats out 20 maxer at lvl 18

meanwhile the entire supply of basic items like jewels, charms, bases, even basic uniques, is gone. Bots being gone gave a few nolifers a reason to play and sell items. i've looked into making a char this ladder and the supply just isnt there for decent chars. if im gonna play a game just to make a 9 maxers vlld ill just not...

ya its not pretty, scraping for life/manas can take all ladder. its like the old day where u grab a few GCs just to fill slots faster and get rid of plain 15 lifers.
