When you switch to the facet side. I guess you don't have max block? I know you will be running awavideo urly and not getting hit (unless namelocked by bowie)..... but i was just wondering.

yes when you switch you dont have max block, the idea is to switch and to switch back if opponent is about to hit you.
Rabies is also AR dependant, i am in the process of writing up something re: optimal ar based on opponent class.

I was going to do a chart but seeing as how the chart will eventually expire, I will just type this up:

Chance to Hit - Average Defence for each Build @ 49
(For the sake of variance, I have rounded up in all instances)

Amazon - Bowa - Average Defence : 900
Necro - PNB - Average Defence : 900
Druid - Windy - Average Defence : 900
Druid - Fissure - Average Defence : 900
Assa - Trapper - Average Defence : 900
Amazon - Java - Average Defence: 1000
Sorc - ESFB - Average Defence : 1300
Druid - Rabies - Average Defence : 1500
Sorc - Es Light - Average Defence : 1500
Sorc - Vita Blizz - Average Defence : 2000
Sorc - Vita Light - Average Defence : 2000
Barb - WW - small charms - *Average Defence : 4000
Pala - Libby - Average Defence : 5000
Barb - WW - BO Skillers - *Average Defence : 8000
Pala - Zeal - Average Defence : 11000
Pala - V/T - Average Defence : 12250

*With ZB shaft, and a Rare Shield, Barb Defence can go quite a bit higher.

OK, going back to the Rabies character - without focusing on AR you will get about 5400ar. With a bit of tweaking however, this can be easily boosted to 10K ar (I can get 13K + with further tweaking).

Lets compare Untweaked 5.4K AR vs not-too-hard-to-attain 10K AR.

OK, what does all of this actually mean ? Simply put: it is relatively easy to boost your AR to 10K+, and the above highlights that you SHOULD Boost your AR to 10K+, where possible.

(I attain approx 12750AR via a specialised weapon and twinking some items / charms).
