technically when you buy fg you are being provided a "service" because what you are receiving isnt a tangible item and therefore for legality purposes they have to say "donation" however in this regard in my opinion if a site asks you to pay them money on a service they did not provide that sounds dangerously close to an illegal transaction and i would imagine (since i worked for a bank for 3 years) that this would be flagged as money laundering huhu
