@jan: there should be a "no laming" rule replacing all those 100 useless rules.
for example pots:
a poor/new player might need manapots to have a proper gameplay. if a rich player specializes a build completely for manapots its an abuse and should be penalized.
mld was based on agreement and understanding. this tour/rules made it far to bureaucratic.
Thats true but it doesnt work out that way when people play competitavly. Also those tour rules act like a guidline for most people in public games.
I appreciate the less amount of rules at lld compared to mld but liferep is a very important factor comparable to resistance and my suggestion was just to adjust the maximum liefrep for sorc/pala, ranged and melee individually as well as decrease the overall amount (there is allready a cap at 22 liferep for all chars at perz' rules)
Btw dont compare the role of liferep at mld to it in lld, the average dmg taken at lld is much lower compared to mld making liferep much more effective.
e: My question is why cap at 15 or 20? How does that improve the gamplay? Why not cap at 5 or even 0? Also the graduation of maximum lieferep i suggested was not in order to give other chars an unfair advantage.
I just think that a barb/druid will profit much less from 20 liefrep than a sorc and therefore their gear-variety will increase a bit (i doubt anyone would use perf skulls on a melee char xD).
