It only bugs for melee damage, missiles like guided arrow get full effect


I keep trying to find more posts/data on this but can't lol

Anyone know a post/vid on it? I have noticed bowas mixing ed/max and I thought they were just retarded

Idk man that’s what I’m trying to figure out… I would think 20ED 9 dex AR jewels would be better but idk what’s up with the min/max…. The guy said if you use jab but even Vlld jab builds say don’t mix ed/min/max unless on weapons

i know multi was always a bit of a trick on telestomps because you could do insane dps, but must have made changes to strafes first hit speed.

also did they fix min max bug but only for missiles? or was min max not affected for missiles in classic as well?


Strafe is machine gun AA anccompanied by knock back. It wasn’t used much in lld because it sucks vs max block and almost everyone goes max block in lld. It shouldn’t be banned tbh, haseo’s necro example is pretty much the only time it would be OP. Basically when a caster has to use a tele stick to tele onto the zon, it’ll get ripped. But it wouldn’t affect like… 95% of stuff in lld. In hld where only silly geese go max block, it’s crazy op

I will be testing both out... but from everything I've researched and people I've talked to, the first armor is ed bugged

It is, but only for melee attacks like jab, whirlwind, etc

Missiles get full effect, u can go put it on maxroll and see your true damage

Yeah, seems like your right, I guess it does affect only the character screen will reflect the bug but it's not actually the case.

This is what I was able to find online :

ED and max or min jewels work in weapons without any problems, but for ALL non-weapon jewels:
Having an ED+max jewel in a item: the ED% will only effect min damage
Having an ED+min jewel in a item: the ED% will only effect max damage
Having an ED+min+max jewel in a item: the ED% will have no effect
If an item already has base ED on it, such as the ED that spawn on circlets or ED/AR paladin sheilds, max or min damage jewels will work as normal
Having an ED+max jewel in an item with base ED: the total ED will only effect min damage; the max damage will work as normal


So because the ED on the jewel is affected at the time of socketing, the order in which multiple jewels are inserted actually matters.
Simple example with 3 jewels with just 1 mod on each (ED,min,max), inserted on a 3-sockets normal non-weapon item:
ED,min,max or ED,max,min -> no bug
min,ED,max -> ED not affecting minimum melee attack damage
max,ED,min -> ED not affecting maximum melee attack damage
min,max,ED or max,min,ED -> ED completely ignored for both melee and ranged attack damage

Note for ED+min OR ED+max, the final attack damage displayed on the character screen will reflect the bug for ranged attacks, despite it's not actually the case.

I don't have a proper answer, all i can tell you its been tested alot and alot of lld zons use ed max, and the zon that knows it all(since he has literally over 15 zons) is

If you use jab a decent amount or a lot, use 54max/27dex/res armor
If you pretty much only use fury/ga/multi then use 54max/60ed/res or dex armor
