So gambling produces a +/- 5 level range for the range of mods of the items gambled by your character. Cool seems easy enough to figure a clvl that falls within 5 levels of all the mods you want to produce on an item.. this works out fine for +2 tab/30frw/20fcr circ as those qlvls are like 40/40/30... what happens if I wanna try to get an alvl41 mod on a 2tab circlet or something?

Basically I’m thinking about this alvl41 suffix that produces 4-7 DR... .74*(41)= 30.75... a classic round down to lvl 30 D2 scenario but.. it places the mod outside the reasonable gambling range for a character that’s trying to gamble up 2/30/20 circs. Would it just be a wildly rare item to obtain? A circ/armor/shield with 7dr and useful mods otherwise? Or does d2 actually round UP here and the reason I haven’t seen a 7dr rare mod at lvl30 is because they’d come in at lvl31 weirdly?

If anyone knows lmk. I’m sure it’s something like... to open the door for the 7dr mod kinda opens a can of worms for a lot of other mods you don’t want etc but just curious. Looking into crafting and stuff more than I ever have before lol

I have a gambling story!

in 2007 my cousin, a keen gambler, was celebrating his 30th Birthday in town and suggested we go to a casino. I was brought up in a culture were gambling was wrong, so I declined. He begged, I relented. We got to the Casino and I had no ID. Yay! I went home. My cousin told me to bring ID and come back in. I said no, and hung up. He phoned again, I relented. got my passport, got a taxi, got in, got a € 20.00 free chip. Went to the checkout, traded the chip for money, went upstairs. registered to the poker tournament ( I only know how to play poker) and won it. I went home with 1,000.00. I went back each week. At first my parents were not too keen on the idea but when I came back every week with € 1000 or more they said "keep going". Of course you don't win all the time and the day eventually came when I lost. I had gotten greedy. Situation: I went on Thursday night (Entrance fee: € 200 - 1st, € 5,000.00) Friday night (Entrance fee € 50.00 1st € 2,100.00) Saturday night (Entrance Fee € 25.00 with multi rebuys, Joint 1st 1,500.00) and Sunday night (Entrance Fee € 50.00 78th - lost € 50.00). After suffering this heavy blow I realised I that gambling was wrong and that....nah, i kept gambling. but live tournaments in my country petered out in 2008 (global recession) and its 2021 now and they still dont really feature in my small country.

so the moral of the story is, its ok to gamble provided your name is sasax or ferdia.

ps this all in feature in bar and pub is so braindead. no skill at all wtf its so stupid.

Good story. Here's one of my own.

I was in Las Vegas two years ago for my best friends bachelor party.
We didn't go to the casinos. We went to wet republic (massive outdoor pool party) instead. Ate half of my friends gummy bears. Turns out they were edibles. Got wrecked. Kissed many akaras

Just to make sure you are aware for future gambling, gamble is clvl -4/+5, not -/+ 5. Shopping is simply clvl +5. That’s why it’s good to use lvl 45 for Lld circ gambling, gives every single gambled circ a shot at +2 skill tab.

I dont have a personal story like that :(

but well, my nephew was introverted when he was a kid. he would run away whenever a girl said boo to him.
In his teens he moved house and ended up in a new school. His personality changed within a week. That school was the best thing that ever happened to him. His entire year went out on the first friday night to a party. They had a game to see who could get the most kisses from the opposite sex. He won that competition. I still remember asking him how he got on in school "fantastic! 34 girls kissed me on friday!".

There goes Belarathon posting relevant informative information *sigh* im forever outdone :(

I slept standing up in my hotel shower.
Sun + lots of alcohol + crouching tiger, hidden drugs was like Danzeva trying to 3v1 a team of hammerdins on his guest v/t

I played roulette on acid once and lost ~$200 because I couldn't focus on the individual chips or where I was putting them. It was fun though.
