Whats up doods , so what you guys think about allowing items with max res mods but also can not be frozen (cbf) in duels were the max res mod(s) wouldn't have an impact in the duel?

So we have death belt , hawkmail armor, and the jade tan do weapon, and rhyme shield. The only one I saw that could be difficult to manage would be hawkmail since it also applies max cold res.

Also wanted to see how you guys felt about Lv.30 kickers (non trapper variants only). I know a lot of people have mix feelings about kickers sense they are after all the only character with a melee dps skill that can't deadly/critical strike. They gain no min or max from the majority of jewels, or inventory and gain very little from any weapon.

Being that dragon flight/dragon talon (kicks) is not only heavily underplayed but also just a much weaker build, I was thinking why not give kicker a buff and allow them to run ClegLaw gloves @ 25% slow to combo off of dragon talon in tvts and may be stand more of a chance vs others in 1v1s. Question would be wether its too op vs other melees or casters.

nobody is going to complain if you use hawkmail vs a non-cold sorc or jade tan do vs non-psn based chars. clegs i dont think so because you are slowing them down vs all opponents in the tvt, not just the weak kicker.

also, you might want to just use spirit shroud instead of hawkmail since it's a lot better in every way

For sure, forgot to mention spirit shroud. So you mentioned no gleglaw for tvt and I can see how gleglaw gloves can absolutely devastate the game state in a tvt, but what about 1v1??

Edit; on second thought would a kicker be devastating with 25% slow in tvt? I mean youd have to land a melee which isnt impossible but in most cases can be very taxing as a melee in tvt and most of the time you could just end up dead. Sorc hardly get effected, same thing with paladins I feel like and most barbs use tele staff from what I can tell. It would effect more runners and wsg spammers. Which I'm fine with when you think about it the trade off isnt that toxic or critical.

1x df is easy to land on anyone. 25% slow on nec or zon is crippling. Even clay golem is bm on necros. Slow is a no go fo sho yo

Just play better builds dude... trying to make exceptions so bad builds can still lose is just dumb.
