Im been thinking about making a lld char for a while now. Im not sure if i want to go lvl 9, 18 or 30

I like the idea of 9 and 18 more then 30, but im open to any of the 3. Although m not sure how active 9 and 18 is on East NL.

If i was to make a char to duel for fun in the evenings or weekends
What class would be the simplest to find games to duel in?

30 = Easiest to get duels, games up regularly

18 or 49 = if u come into game and 30s are dueling u can ask and people will bring chars for u to duel, but it can mess up tvt so sometime people wont

9 = u have to pm people for duels generally, or some will bring in chars for u to duel.

id suggest 30, as it will give u consistent duels, but could build all 3 over time.

I may try all 3 over time. I can get the chars rushed and leveled up then collect gear as i see it/ wanna use that char.

The main reason i was thinking 9 or 18 was because ive tried high lvl pvp and was dead as soon as i left town before really knowing what was happening lol

So i figured 9 or 18 may be a little slower paced lol

9 is basically all melee, 18 is mostly melee or zvz or chargers, chargers are fast paced.

lvl 30 is actually fairly slow paced, the dmg to life ratio works out well.

Chargers are fast-paced sure, but i think he was probably getting auto-aimed in HLD by like invis arrows/bonespears or something.
Pub HLD duel games are all botters lol

even in non BM hld is fast as hell, everyone can tele, attacks do insane dmg, grief, hammers, massive stacks of dmg from casters, 1 shot poi attacks, etc.

similar to the pacing difference in 30 and 49. although imo 49 is faster than hld, since it has nearly all of the damage with way less life from stat pts.

I guess the dueling culture is just different. Ive never seen a HLD pub game that didnt jump lol.

And if you have your DR set up on so that a barb/zon wont 1 hit you, a sorc will jump you instead lol.

you're 100% right, pub games are jumpers, i was just saying even gm 1v1 is really quick compared to LLD. we have to watch after out mana pools afterall!

To an extent, mld is the same way though. Higher damage to life ratio, sure, but mana pools are usually hilariously low because you need so much str/dex to wear good gear/have max block. And mana costs are usually through the roof in mld relative to lld because of high skill levels

HLDS generally use mana pots in GM duels so they can spew out dps non stop
