Will this jewel in a shield bug my fury damage? Not familiar with ED/integer dmg jewels. I know ED/min and ED/max get bugged.

min or max+ed bugs in anything but weapon
jewel should be fine? decent if need poison res

(Ed/min/max bug explained:)
Case 1: Item has innate %ED. You socket with a +Max or +Min Jewel. No bug.
Case 2: You socket an item with a %ED Jewel. Then you socket with +Max or +Min Jewel. No bug.
Case 3: Item has innate +Max. You socket with a +%ED Jewel. The %ED only applies to minimum, not maximum.
Case 4: Item has innate +Min. You socket with a +%ED Jewel. The %ED only applies to maximum, not minimum.
Case 5: You socket item with a +Max Jewel, then you socket with a +%ED Jewel. The %ED only applies to minimum, not maximum.
Case 6: You socket item with a +Min Jewel, then you socket with a +%ED Jewel. The %ED only applies to maximum, not minimum.
Case 7: You socket an item with a %ED/Max Jewel. The %ED only applies to minimum, not maximum.
Case 8: You socket an item with a %ED/Min Jewel. The %ED only applies to maximum, not minimum.
Case 9: You socket an item with a %ED/Min/Max Jewel. The %ED applies to neither.

yeah after rereading all of the cases i am perplexed on this aswell, me and you were JUST talking about this scenario and for some reason not one of case 1 through 9 seems to fit it.

I asked this question a year ago and no one knew. Then i said that i would test it in open bnet but then no one could figure out the port forwarding lol

well to me its closest to case 1 and 2, so i would have to assume based on that opinion, that there is no bug. but im not willing to lose 2 20 maxers in my circ which works perfectly to risk it being bugged.

thats crazy that people have put so much time into making the info known that they left out a scenario like this one when doing their testing/explaining of results. this seems like a common question people would ask about this.

I did a lot of testing like this in 2009 with clanbk and cadagan if you know them. We would calculate the expected pvp damage range. Verify the damage as a control, and then add jewels with ridiculous + dam or ed to see their impact on min/max etc
