What is the best spot to farm level 30 rares and magics gear?

Normal - Nightmare

its more about Clearing speed> areas

i usually go... ( i look for vlld -> lld )
Shrenk -> Pindle -> Trav -> Pit -> Chaos -> Baal

sometimes i spread out beyond that if i hit some extra rare monsters.

my advice is to use a dream aura sorc ( cant beat the clearing speed+tele+mf... plus its effortless )

typically light sorc can stack the most MF while running NM with best killspeed, hdin maybe better but lightning for cow runs is nice.

i generally go with like 3 pc tals, shako, occy, war travs, dual nagaels.

but u could even go like with skullders, gwrap, sorc+mf ammy

my runs are generally:

-shenk/eld
-pindle
-trav
-meph
-andy
-chaos
-baal
-cows

basically a full clear.

If you want to get all nerdy and shit, the real answer is, what are you trying to mf?
Item drops are based on the area lvl that you farm those items in (the area lvl sets the corresponding monster lvl -- and a monster's level dictates what mods can spawn on drops)


TLDR: Monster lvl dictates what mods will roll on an item. If you do a bit of math, you can try to farm areas where your desired mods are the "ceiling" so that you dont continually get crap you cant use (i.e. high lvl bulk). Then at that point, farm as fast as possible to get the most chances to roll gg items

hdin is only better in hell

dream helm+dream shield and convi off merc is more than enough to 1-3 hit monsters it self in nm ( 1 hit 99% of monsters in normal )

plus hdin is way more labor intensive. i prefer to spend my time looking at items as my gear kills

yeah dual dream is a very fun build to mf when u can just tele + alt to see items.

i made a 500 or so MF dual lawbringer barb to run/hork tombs last ladder. just to find vlld items and help out noobies. w/ frenzy i was clearing tombs in like 30 secs in solo games. in group games i'd slow hork through.

CS/Light fury zon is super fun for cows as well

Actually my favorite for chasing white bases in cows. I usually just cow for white vlld/18 base items that botters don’t pick up. Not worth my time usually to run chaos/etc for rares now that mass botters have good pick.its
