hello i got this jewel and thinking or possible to make min dmg sin with min-max jewels for example min dmg build has over 1k dmg with 3 ts rolls so that 8 min dmg jewels making her like 8min-8max each jewel in the end ?? if i would make for example all with jewels like this what would be min dmg and max dmg ?? or it would be lower in total than 8min dmg jewels build ??

i think the idea with min dmg build is you want min dmg to surpass max dmg, so when u add additional min dmg, it raises both min and max.

you may have enough min dmg from other jewels to eventually raise min enough to surpass max but essentially the 7 max on this jewel would be wasted in a full min dmg build. ( I believe)


Basically a plain 8 min dmg jewel would be a better option for pure min dmg build, this jewel be better for other builds.


edit: yes, once your min dmg = or greater than max, than 8 min jewel is essentially a 8 min 8 max jewel.

need to have at least 8-9+ dmg (or 4-13+) to outpace a plain 8 min if we are talking raw damage.

Somebody tried to make 30 lvl chars for high min dmg?

I have tried a few different min dmg builds but they can be really hard to make work. mainly due to the max/ar/lifer inventory.

you can't really get decent dmg while also having the min dmg = max dmg numbers

with VLLD you can get all min dmg then u have no dmg from inv, even at 18 you can run a bunch of 15life/12ars or 15life/8def charms. you could do similar for a lvl 30, run 20 or more 15life/20def scs, then go for like Conc with min dmg jewels.

I thought about bowa, he have always low min dmg on Ga, around 100 +. I just wonder how I see jwls 20 ed dmg 9 min 9 dex or 12 min 9 dex 6 str, and I always think about this min dmg..

bowa could be fun to try, could maybe give it a go w/ rogues bow or a rare double/shortsiege/rune bow

get 30% DS from rogues, then pump up Crit dmg. you'd be able to get crits very consistently.

On a level 30 bowa it would be very difficult.

Bowside wouldn't be too difficult, you just use a bow with low max like an up'd rogues bow or something. The jav side might not even be attainable with regular high damage harpoons.
You have to replace at least some of your max scs with something else to have any hope of making min>max on either side.

So once you start replacing high damage weapons with low damage weapons, high damage jewels with low damage jewels and high damage charms with 0 damage ccharms you're left with a build that has significantly less average damage than a plain bowa at several times the cost.
Not to mention the sheer effort involved in finding jewels.

There's basically no upside

weaj had a min dmg zealot at 30. all it did was boost average damage, never enough +min to beat the max damage at 30
