My build however has a bit of increased physical damage to pack a punch along with the lightning damage. This char has been a project of mine that I’ve been testing for quite some time to try and make it as non-shitty as possible. Overall you have the option to maximize your lightning damage, add in Foh/Conv, add in insight, zeal, and a few other tricks to deal with opponents you give yourself the best chance. As with any charger, holy shock or might, dueling largely depends on your ability to synch properly and pick your spots to strike at the right time. Also as with any charger, if you catch your opponent without a shield on (be it bow side, an insight or a tele staff) they die. The main “advantage” this build has over a regular charger is the pulse damage of holy shock, which acts as an anti-rep of sorts, allowing you to l8z a bit more onscreen without charging in vs. some matchups. This isn’t much of an advantage but it’s something! It also can clear out summons from your opponent quite nicely which can be the death of you.
Build Options:-A 103 str req build based around divine scepters, more like a traditional charger only with holy shock aura.
-A stylish expensive setup with maximum swaps for versatility that I personally use and recommend.
- A budget 55 str req build based around war scepters, best suited for ladder or to experiment with the playstyle on a budget.*
*could possibly be used on ladder or something, would struggle vs quality opponents

Gear explanation:So essentially with my build I have access to 5 skills without stating a single one. Meditation on scepter side, Holy Shield, Vigor, Fist of Heavens, and Conviction. This is a massive advantage in terms of versatility. And with medi on scepter side there is no reason to be without a shield vs. any char doing phy. Dmg. Also FOH alleviates the need to charge an opponent down to do damage. Add on to that the ability to change out Vmagi and/or Pcrown for an additional 4 sockets and this build can do A LOT of physical damage.
Resist will be your biggest issue, it will be tempting to use those lifer armor/helm to maximize damage, careful vs. cold mastery or conviction that you do not dip below 75 or 84 resist, respectively. Also consider sanders vs. tearhaunch in terms of allres/vigor vs. 100 ar (which do you need more?).
My last upgrades i need are 4x max / ar / light jewels or dmg/light dmg jewels. 3x for a lifer armor, 1x to make a new vmagi so i dont lose str for insight when i swap, i am overstr now...
Lastly, Holy shock does synergize FOH, still only tickles but its a bit better for it

Dueling:As with any charger synching is going to be a win or loss thing. Pulse if you can if opponent is at near death, otherwise dont count on it.
Matchups:WW Barb: Foh if you'd like, usually a 5-0 auto loss. By far hardest matchup
Fireballer: Not a fun build overall to duel. If you can l8z until they need insight you stand a chance.
Firewaller: Have to crack the es, 2h insight with some res scs possibly
Bowa: max armor plate and Charge!
Nado Druid: Pick off summons, pulse down summons, catch them moving or with tele staff out. Foh is also handy.
PNB Necro: Very hard build at times. One hit and a big crit can be the end, but bone spirits hurt. Spirit shield out of magic sorb.
Light Sorc: Be Aggressive, Zeal can outdps the sorc at times with good rolls. try to get a few charges by synching in and get ahead in life then charge in and zeal to out dps or recharge
Blizz Sorc: make sure you have enough res, sometimes a spare ammy can be the only swap you need. Fairly straightforward duel, set up a synch and hope you get through their shield. insight out is their death
Trap Sins: 84 res helps, get them on the move and in open space. one of the most favorable matchups for the build
Plague Zons: Fairly easy duel strat. Synch to set up "free" charges where you avoid getting poisoned. Once you get poi a clock starts, your hits vs the poi if you dont have plr. I generally lock charge and try to also zeal to finish them before the psn.
