Just recently started playing again. It seems much better than 3 years ago. Is pvp is competitive or balanced? or just there? How is it overall?

pvp is something that still needs work, it is not balanced at all

They just updated pvp with siege pvp and I think it's pretty sick.

Pvp is still horribly unbalanced. If you want the same effect of PvPing in Vindictus, you could always take a handful of keys and put them in an open light socket.
