for the first 50 levels or so:

if you want easy mode, go evie

fairly simple chars while having some challenge would be karok/fiona

for a bit more of a harder challenge go lann

the character that brings the most challenge in late game would be lann.

i have alil question, what should i use for my armor seeing that im using the two swords? light, or heavy?
does each have it's pro's and con's?

well, as a lann (twin sword user) you will wear heavy and plate armor, so leveling your light armor proficiency for now isnt actually a need.

Fiona is actually a more complex and challenging character than people give her credit for. Her slow attack speed and precision shield counters means you have to cherry pick your moments carefully in a tense boss battle if you want to survive.
All Lann has to do is button mash.

Evie is indeed easy mode, though. Just one layer of Mana Shield = invincibility from the next attack. Completely broken.
