Game is pretty fun so far, currently lvl 23 with a Lann.

Game mechanics are fun, the game brings alot of stuff to the table, it has it flaws, but for a free game, definitely a go go.

Is it like Monster Hunter?

Never played that so I couldnt say.
Its somewhat similair to guild wars in certain ways, everything is instanced, towns, dungeons, every part of map/stores are instanced to reduce lag, to let low spec pc run this easily.

As for gameplay, its a hack and slash, a bit like dynasty warriors on the playstation and such.

You wont be pressing 1-2-3-4-5- etc to use skills like an usual MMORPG.

Your skills, are mainly attack combination that you have to remember, aka 3x left click, 2x right click, and so on, as you level up, you learn new combinations and chains, which gets the game even more interesting.

From what ive seen, to determine a good from a bad player, is mainly how well you handle your combo rotation, and how well you can Dodge/Block attacks.
You cannot let bosses hit you ( the big bosses ) as some of them can 2-3 shot you.

You have access to limited amount of potions / ressurection items per mission to assist yourself / teammates.

Sweet, I was watching some videos, somewhat like Monster Hunter, i'll be installing this in a few days. Don't feel like waiting to install, so gunna install over night tonight or tomorrow.

I just got a beta key for it, ill try it out tomorrow.

Surprisingly good game from Nexon. From the time I've spent in beta I can already tell this will have its own section in no time
