Might as well replace that muffler bearing

A dead battery would cause both of these.

In reality you didn't provide nearly enough information.

i know i said i could provide more info.

i have a brand new battery.

engine cranks.

no spark.

no fuel pump.

no check engine light when key is ON but not running. [cant run anyways... right now no start, even with starter fluid, spark and fuel pump all went out same time]

it should show a check engine light when i have the key in ON, as it lights up all my other dash clusters.

obd2 scanner gets power, but cant detect ECU.

i went to check the thermostat ground where the ECU is grounded and i was getting weird fluctuations on my multimeter that i didnt get on any of my other grounds..

i went and made sure i had a good ground with jumper cables to this location just to make sure it was grounded, and still same results.

i have no clue about this, almost makes me think something is intermittently shorting. anyone have any ideas??

That lack of ECU communication is your answer. Bad ECU=no engine worky.

Could be that ground or it could be something else in the ECU system.

also found a nest in there... meaning the fuses in the car could be good, but the wires feeding them might not be.

so not sure how that could effect ecu and obd2

weird because my windows and lights work.

im still very skeptical of this thermostat ground.

what make/model/year?

sounds like you have a harness issue somewhere, if your not getting power to the ecu your not going to do anything. and often lights/windows/locks are run off a different harness

time to get a multi meter and start chasing

I'm assuming harness issue or a faulty wire.

Will get my multimeter out and test dash fuses for voltage, I already visually inspected them but I'll test for voltage like I did with hood fuses.

Perhaps fuse 31 or another one isn't receiving current

I only see SRS, OIL, and battery light when key is ON(II)
No abs, no Cel, etc.

i tested all the dash fuses for voltage this time, they all passed like the hood ones did.

i tested my main relay and ECU ground and it passed, BUT i tested the wire for continuity and it failed.

the BOLT is grounded, but the WIRE has damage somewhere, not grounding the main relay and the ECU <----

ugh how to fix this man... can hardly access anything, its probably eaten by the firewall.

4 crimped wires come to this one ground bolt. its the only ground bolt for the ECU.

i did find some slightly damaged wires but they werent enough for me to think they wouldnt perform. i should repair these, but my main issue is no fuel no spark no CEL when key is ON(II), hence the not-so grounded main relay/ECU >:P

Make a jumper wire. Run it from the ground stud and start checking those wires that come off it. Leave the key on and once you hear the fuel pump kick on you've found your bad wire. Rerun/replace.
