Range Rover Velar 2.0D AT was the plan but been SUV person for last 6 years and wouldn't mind trying out something new like Tesla for example but not sure about maintenance and such since its a novelty and I use my current 2016 RR HSE maybe 4 times a week as I live 10 minutes walking distance to centre, so wouldn't want something that I would have to spend time toying around with. Any thoughts on teslas?

There was a very intelligent gentlemen who owns a model s on the Tesla forums who was tired of everybody and their misconceptions about Tesla and the electric cars in general. Not as clean as everybody makes them out to be. He broke down a mathematical chart on the cost of gas vs electricity. In certain instances it costs more to fully charge a tesla. The maintenance is rather high if batteries and such is out of warranty. Theres not much aftermarket support on their batteries yet like there is for the Prius battery. Not to mention a extremely short range if thats your only vehicle and you have to travel. Not a bad car just not what everybody thinks they are.

Stay within your means my friend. Based on your inability to repay loans in a timely manner that only totaled $700, a 1980s Mercedes 240 or 300 D may be a good vehicle for you.

Seems that way, hopefully as time goes by things improve, going to test drive both next week

An enviable status to have as opposed to the guy that posts farewells over $700. When you get down on your luck again, remember me. Crooked will bail you out.
