As some of you may know im running a Borg Warner EFR 6758 atm and im absolutely satisfied with the results, but im simply missing a couple of horses and ive been looking for an upgrade over the upcoming winter.

Since ive made good experience with the EFR series obviously ive been looking at the EFR 8374, but i want to take a look at other competing series on the market. I want interal wastegates and internal recirc valve because we´re not allowed to vent to the atmosphere in germany and i dont want to mess with all the external stuff in my already stuffed small engine-bay

TL/DR?:

What Turboseries offers Internal Wastegates and internal recirc valve on big twinscroll chargers.

Have you tried adjusting the wastegate? Usually a substantial difference between what factory's want to have them bypass pressure wise at compared to what they can take.

The 6758 is running how it should be. its rated at 500hp and i got 503hp 716nm out of it on 102 octane pumpgas through a 3" exhaust with cat and 2 silencers. im sure some horses could be found in a better flowing exhaust, but i have to pass emission tests (sound and gas emissions) here in germany so i have to run silencers and a cat.

also im not talking about a couple of horses like 10hp. more like 200.

How often do you have to pass those emission test?

Once in a Labor to be allowed to reg it (and get all components written in the cars paperwork) and then every 2 years with an easy CO2 and NOX tester. 200cpi cat is enough when its hot. on cold start 200cpi cat wont let me pass :D but im allowed to warm up the car before testing. Also sound emissions cant exceed the listed DB in the Paperwork of the car from factory.

Everytime you get pulled over they messure the sound emissions and check all the components if they match the components you got the emissions testing with in the labor. labor costs 8k euros alone (the one time labor) lol...

it does. i had mine in labor now with the efr 6758 and got all the paperwork and stuff and im hoping that im getting away with fitting a bigger turbo and nobody sees it lol. the 2 years inspection isnt a problem for me i know some people, but when i get pulled over i cant do anything :D

but ye id love dual wastegates with dual hood exits, but its simply not possible. and messing with a dual wastegate manifold and downpipe in my small bay would be an absolute mess.

ye in germany they dont like tuned cars... people cry about loud exhausts and speeding people and the police is forced to react. they dont have enough space to tow all the cars they would like to impound...

if your car is droped an inch to much (minimum of 3.2" space from car to ground), or your exhaust is to loud, you havent been to an inspection with your rims or they are the wrong ones etc etc your car will be impounded

haha here they only look for tuning. i have 2 DIN A4 sites of tested mods and theyre helt small to fit some more onto the small car paper. rims are one line for example. cops search till they find something. takes atleast 30 minutes and then they ticket me for something thats not even ticketable, but i dont want to anger them.

on national holidays its not allowed to meet up with more than 5 modified cars. not even on private property. when they see a modified car it gets pulled over everytime. i get pulled over by the same cops all the time. its pure chicane.

theyre just doing ther job and i do appreciate them. its our government thats racist against "tuners" and wants them gone.
