So I’m trying to figure out which corvette to go with.

Right now the options I was considering was either the c6 z06 or the c7 z06.

I’m well aware of all the problematic issues of the LS7 with the valve guides and rocker arms.

I’m a bit hesitant on the c7 solely from people complaining about the overheating issues on the track. I’m also not a fan of the high speed drag the car has compared to the c6.

I thought about just dumping money into the c5z but that isn’t ideal considering it’s my daily.

You are in Canada right? One of my friends has a badass C6Z for sale right now but it's a couple thousand miles south of you. I tuned it a few months ago and it made an honest 600whp on 93 octane from a conservative dyno. It's a steal at $35k USD. He paid 30k for it a year ago, spent $15k on a Tony Mamo ported trickflow heads and cam package, ported MSD intake, 2" headers etc. It's a red 08.

buy a c5 z06 and spend the extra money on engine mods. I daily my c5 and have no issues. a c5 wont depreciate like a c6 or c7. Would be the best investment imo.

He already has a C5Z. I wouldn't do internal mods on one I was going to daily unless I had a 2nd vehicle. The more you mod, the more shut breaks.

Texas, but judging by a thousand miles south it might be pretty damn close. PM me for more info please, thanks. Hopefully it has a decent low mileage too, I’m looking for something less than 30k miles.

Like FMX stated, I already have a c5z that’s my current daily. I just want another Vette as my weekend/Mexican warrior to play with.

I fully enjoyed the c6 when I had it. Just a pain in the ass getting in and out since I hurt my back from work

Honestly it feels like the c5 is slightly worse even on stock ride height.
