Hello, (This is for Quebec, CAN)

I am currently trying to sell my 2016 Pro RMK 800cc (less than 10kUSD) and someone from the states (not so far from the canadian border) would like to buy it. I am the only and complete owner of this snowmobile.

Anyone ever did a canada/usa sale of this size ? How does it works with the title of ownership etc ? I am not confortable at all and probably would not do the sale but still curious ‘’in case I do it’’.

Not sure if anyone here has the answer, but try googling it or go/call the SAAQ and ask them what the procedure is.

It's not as bad as you think. Sold a few trucks to canucks back in the day and the buyer does most of the "work"

All you do is sell the vehicle normally and let them deal with logistics. Bill of sale and cashiers check and you're set.

He will have to either use a broker or pay a fee at the border, he will have to notify that border of this sale, if he is coming to pick it up, if you are delivering, you will need to notify the borer of said deal.
