how do you tell if a car has had regular oil changes when it's history shows up like this?

they could have had it done at a private mechanic, is there a way to identify that? just want to make sure i'm not looking at a vehicle that wasn't well maintained

A simple test drive by you or a certified mechanic will tell you alot about the car also look for floor mat, seat and steering wheel anormal wear

It cost only like 350$ to change mileage of a car, thats what would bother me more than eratic maintenance

you can't really tell for sure or what its gonna die when you start driving it your way. Worn chain tensioners, valve lash can be hidden by thick slop oil products.
It's always good to have a scanner with live data to look at fuel trims while you drive it.
but most of it is pretty explanatory and you should be able to tell if brakes are healthy or the tranny is shifting correctly.
