Cr 125 2004 2-strokes, 5-speed, 124cc, .00 bore (I hope). Mikuni carburetor (don't know the exact model)
Hey guys ! I want to clean my bike carburetor since I let some old gas dry in it this winter and it's now not starting. I started it 2 times but I let the gaz key off between (so the carb is probably now all varnished)
Got fire. Bought new spark anyway (BR9EG). Gapped 0.5mm-0.6mm not already in, got to clean carb first.
Put new gaz in. (32:1)
New air filter. (K&N dust catcher)
Checked exhaust for plugs. (shitty ugly dirty noname tune-pipe + muffler)
Bike turns for like 5-6 sec and as I try to rev it up to dry the base, it stalls and won't turn again.
At first, fouled plug, after that burnt plug and no more gaz to the cylinder.
So the real question is : Can I use regular wurth brake cleaner ? Like not let it dry off on the seals, just to clean jets and lines and after that soak it in gaz. Or should I really really use CARB cleaner and why ?
I got a full can of brake cleaner at home so if I can use it instead of buying a carb cleaner one I'd like it.
