I cannot figure this one out. I have a 2.7L 2004 Conv Chrysler Sebring, 96,xxxx miles. I just decided about 6 months ago to keep this vehicle till it dies instead of buying a new car (Good thing I just lost my Job).

The battery has been dieing either overnight or in a few days for the past 2ish months. I had the alternator checked, said it was perfect. I replaced the battery and it was good for about a week then it died again and is as bad as ever. I know what you are thinking, parasitic drain somewhere. I checked the amps a few times and it is always between 0.01-0.02. I am really posting this because I find it highly unlikely I got two bad batteries and on this vehicle it is a royal fucking pain in the ass to get the battery out of the wheel well. Maybe there is something I don't know I am overlooking.

To whom it matters anymore I'll throw a nice chunk of my fg to someone who has a solution. Trying to avoid the shop, my savings are gonna start dwindling quick and haven't found a new job yet.

Edit, I would like to add, especially due to the fact the amount of days seems random, that first thought would be a switch is getting stuck I use or something. I've been hyper aware of checking all switches. Not ruling it out just saying it is something I look for every time I park my car.

I knew that was coming lol. The only electrical component that is aftermarket are the headlights. They aren't drawing any amps so can't see why they would fire up randomly where I can't measure it. We've been really lucky with Chrysler my whole life. No major problems so I never understood the criticism. We have 4 out back right now that all went from new/10k/40k to all over 100k now with zero issues. Aside from mine which I bought at 69,xxx about 4 years ago.

just unhook them at night/when you are parked for a while and see if it changes anything. it's almost always some aftermarket goof up that will look silly later.

You can install a relay and a battery cutoff switch in the a cabin, though that would likely cost around $30-50

You can install a manual disconnect which will be around $10 but you will either have to pop the hood or cut a port in the side to access the key port

Check for leaks, any moisture in your car that could be causing a short? It takes a lot more than a small leaching draw to drain a car battery, I know it sounds weird but take it back and make them test it (they can do this while it is in your car)

I bought a battery and didn't use the vehicle for a couple months and that damn battery shit the bed, free replacement due to the short time however

Check for dead light bulbs

pull nonessential fuses and see if that solves the problem, if not you have eliminated a dozen or so options, of it does add one back in at a time and pinpoint which device is causing it

So took the new battery out of the fucking wheel well to have it tested, failed instantly. Thinking it being sucked dead 20 times made it fail not that it was bad from the get go. Now second new battery died overnight. Jumped, Let it idle and charge for about 2 hours, shut off, made sure it started again, good. Left hood open and left door closed so I could check a few hours later for a draw. 0.01-0.02 amps. Facepalming so hard. How in the fuck could I not be measuring a draw and the battery is dieing? Tested multimeter, bro opened door and it jumps from 0.02 to 3.5. Now it's been 2 days and it started. There is some random fucking hidden draw hiding from me testing /wrist

Is it actually dying or just not turning over?

I had a problem with one of these on my buddy's car that ended up being the alarm disabling the motor. But it was delayed and would allow the motor to turn over before cutting power. Legitimately thought it was a ground issue.
Disconnecting and reconnecting the battery worked in a pinch. Had to end up replacing the alarm module with one out of the junkyard.
