Turned my truck off to go into the store and come back out to find that my speakers won't work and I cant hear the blinker sound so i pull over and turn it on and off quick and that does nothing. I get home and turn it off for a few minutes then turn it back on. Now everything works just fine.

Just want to know if anyone knows what this is. I have tried to Google it and didn't really find anything.

My silverado was having electrical issues with the dash lights and heater doing the same thing, turned out a mouse had gotten behind my fuse panel and had been chewing wires. My mechanic said there were 14 wires either chewed or partially chewed. Cars now days have too much shit electrical to go wrong. The latest on my silverado was the stupid gas pedal sensor. I replaced the throttle position sensor and was still getting reduced engine power at times and it turned out to be the one in the gas pedal. What ever happened to a good old throttle cable?

Will admit I'm shocked a vehicle that's only around five years old would already be getting the electrical gremlins. A first gen Silverado I'd expect it but second gen already......? ow
