The real question is.....what do YOU look for in a car.

Our preferences don't represent yours.

For example:

Budget
Make
2 door/4 door
Performance vs commuter vs hybrid of both
Specific amenities
Seasonal

impossible

but for real what do you need the car to do because what most of us look for are probably not what you're going to want for an everyday fuel efficient car

Are you asking me personally or duff?

For me its:
Looks Exterior (I like aggressive, but with the hint of elegance; not full bolt on race car)
Looks Interior
Fun (Handling/Speed)
Usable as a DD (at least through 3 seasons and can handle light snow)
Bragging Rights (Brand/Rep/power/etc)
"Cool" Features (HUD, creature comforts, etc - usually available on fully loaded cars)

I never buy old cars nor used cars, age isn't a factor.
