Is there a significant difference between the 2017 c300 and the
2017 cla250?
Is it worth forking over an extra 10k+ for the c300 instead of cla250
Getting my licenses next month hopefully and will be going 50/50 with my parents on a car.
They intend to get the c300 because "more class and because 250 means "stupid person" in their country"
Thanks

well considering it's already down the luxury car path i'd def go with the 300. inside and outside all new and much sexier than the 250 which looks like previous year models.

i texted a buddy that works at a benz dealership fixing them and he said that you should avoid the cla at all costs

his tldr was - It's the generation y lease bait, terrible interior quality and very poorly optioned for the money. super cramped and FWD. c300 is the first of the 205 chassis c class and the interior is wonderful.

Massive. The CLA is like the same size as a Jetta and to be honest it's about as nice. The new C-Class is very good. The drive, the ride, the quality it's all good even at the base model. Something the old C-Class wasn't very good at. The only CLA that is remotely engaging to drive is the CLA45. The 250 is so cheap. Cheap plastic everywhere, uncomfortable, etc. It's not a real Mercedes. If you're in the market for a luxury car that size an A3 is a far better car for your money.

The CLA looks awesome I'll give it that. But it's not a good Mercedes.

C250 for looks but not the performance
C300 for classy look and better performance
