so the cars back at my moms house (30minutes from me) so I haven't made much if any progress, but its painted, motors still apart for the time being

Cars pretty much put back together body wise, I need to get it wetsanded and buffed yet but it came out really good for me n matts first paint job start to finish

i have some kick panels that im probably going to remold because we put a 10pt cage, and they dont clear the down bars, that and maybe two 8'' mids in boxes

but IF i even do that i wont do more then that, the trunk has to be sealed off from the inside of the car so it will be all tin, i couldnt imagine putting a sub back there lmao


My silverado ive been thinking about putting one of my l7 12s in there, right now got a 800w 4channel pg amp and some 6.5'' mids in the doors and a single compression driver (its a single cab)


Who do you like for midrange speakers? ive always used eminence or selenium, but i bought a pair of skar to try them - the skars are decent for 25$ a piece but not as good as seleniums imo

though i think this model of skar is targeted towards people running 8 door speakers in each door, if there was quantity they could produce good sound, at 100watts they have lots of trouble under 300

ever tried NVX speakers? they are pretty good for the money.

na i saw them on sonic i usually try to stay away from that sort of shelf push brand and use pro audio

i was referring to the like $50 pair range mostly.

yeah i get being wary of house brands. for a while i was just like "oh look the sonic version of sound ordnance garbage". actually impressed me enough that i recommended them heavily for a while(except the amps cause i have serious amp trust issues lols).

the amps as far as i know are good quality too but like you i prefer pro audio in the amp department.
