Hey guys so my car jumped a tooth on timing while trying to get it to start so the pistons should be fine.
Anyway anyone have any idea how much a valve job would cost me on this car? Or should i yank the head off and take it to a machine shop? Otherwise I'm looking at around 300$ for a used head on craigslist.

Don't buy a used head unless you absolutely need too. You can find a rebuilder to do it for $225 if you look around. But keep in mind that you might need to change the valves too depending on how many valves got bent after the belt snapped. And a head gasket set too, to put it back together, so more or less you will spend around $450+ if you do it yourself and if you have someone else do it, a lot more. But like I said, redo your head. You don't know what you will get with a used head.

The lowest quote I've gotten is 1500$. And the belt didn't snap I just fucked up a reset the belt a tooth off and bent the valves from trying to start it

for 1500 bucks you can go buy another 21 year old integra.

Unfortunately not a gsr for that price. Also I've heard that if I just get the head refurbished that it will basically work to well for the old block and blow the pistons seals. Anyone know how true that is?

Yeah but only if you don't grease the PRNDL seats and check the clearances on the crankshaft gussets.
