Hello guys!

I decided to change my old 2005 mazda 3 to something newer!
I went with a slightly used 2015 mazda 3.

The car is the GS sedan automatic version which include heating front seat, cruise control, climatisation, rearview camera and more.
The car has 13000 km and come from a 1 year lease.

The MSRP for the same car but for a new 2016 is 23000 before taxes.

Today i paid the used car 16000$ plus 4 Toyo GSI-5 winter tires.
At first the car was listed at 17500$ on their website.
The tires are one year old and in good conditions.

Did i get a good price or i could have deal to got lower?
Just curious to see since its my first car negociation.

Thanks!

Not bad at all.

The only way for anyone to know if you got a good deal is by comparing similar cars in your area to the price.

The seller probably paid between $14500 and $15500 for it, probably somewhere in the middle of that. With snow tires coming with it (even though Toyo's aren't particularly expensive ones), I doubt you could have got a much better deal than that.

car has a canadian black book value of 15700$, but with mazda's you can't add the options to the value (they aren't listed), so with that low km + all options the price is fair

just make sure to apply anti-rust on mazdas...
