Anyone have any solutions for fixing window tint that drags on the weather seal. My passenger side window lags going up.

Also windshield chip repair? Superglue or actual product? Got a ding in my window that needs fixing. Thanks.

I never thought of that. I have thought the door was been out a bit. If I pull the handle and pull the panel in, the window goes easier. I was hoping waxing that seal might lube things and reduce fiction. I'm not sure how I'd bend the door. I might start a thread if the forum is willing to help a novice. Just got my 2001 infiniti i30 a few weeks ago. It needs a number of fixes.

176k miles for 1600 US and it drives relatively well. Only had 1 owner but four drivers. Mom, dad, son and daughter so a family car.

Thanks for reading!

I've used the 3m window chip repair kit three times, first went really well. The next two were on ag equipment so it was basically a fix to prevent the window from shattering, window resin and packing tape prevented it so it worked well.

Now the window goes up halfway, get stuck, and sometimes goes back down. Not sure why yet. Pulling on the door doesn't help. Must be some kind of alignment.

Regulator most likely unless the motor is shot.

I've been hoping the motor is fine. I'll Google regulator issues. Thanks!

When it stalls out on the way up can you pull up on the window to assist it while holding the window up button? If it moves up freely like that then the motor is most likely on the way out.

Good idea. I was going to try that last night but was too tired to muck with it. I'm give it a go next time I'm at my car.

Cheers! 🍻
