my truck is a few years old now and has never been parked inside. black paint. just wondering how long it takes for paint to start fading
i want to de-badge my truck and pull the chrome door strips off it but dont want to do that stuff if the paint underneath will be brighter and fresher than the rest of the truck.
is this something i have to worry about on a few year old truck or would I be fine?

I lost paint on the chrome rocker strips on my truck. I'm going to probably linex it when work picks up.

I debaged my 2001 silverado last year that hasnt been garage kept but taken care of.
Used heat and fishing line, clean area after and polished.
Cant even tell at all.
