So as I'm sure none of you know, my wife and I are expecting our first child. So naturally we are required to get a mini van. I think it is a law or something.

Anyways, we have found a used 2006 Pontiac Montana with 86k miles on it for $7,995. What I'm trying to determine is:

1. Is the price decent?

2. Generally speaking, overall are Montana's considered reliable. Meaning if i Keep the car 10-15 years, should I be worried about high maintenance costs.

Obviously sometimes things happen, and there is always normal maintenance.

I have taken 1 test drive in it so far. I hadn't noticed anything wrong, and it drove like a charm. I will be taking a second test drive, and bring it to a local mechanic to inspect mechanically.
