Every once in a while ill walk into the small yard in my town, and see if i can find anything for my cars or to flip. most of the time a waste with few good finds...
But this weekend i was pretty much shocked to see what was sitting out in the mud... 2015 golf R that only had 6k miles, i would say hit something on pass side and rolled once.
Yard pulled the motor and AWD/6spd/suspension/brakes/full subframes etc. but the rest (minus headlight switch and shifter boot) was just sitting there. fucking 40k$ car

So i talked to the owner and he seemed as if he wasnt worried about values what so ever... so i went to work with the little time and funds i had, was the best way to spend a rainy weekend i guess lol

with some fast work, slick talk, and 400$ i managed to pick thousands in potential profit off this car in a matter of hours, and keep a few things (recaro R seats, steering wheel, visors) for myself :D
i got the spoiler, bumper diffuser, all 5 lock mechs., all window motors, full rear wiper assembly, rear emblem with pop out reverse camera (ez$$$), front seats, handles, all rear lights, interior panels, tons of switchs, PTS button, rearview mirror... the list goes on and on

pics only show half of it..

all in great shape, just need a cleaning.. yard told me 60$ i could take them

put one of the seats in my gti as a joke, but after seeing it they will be going into it for good in time. passenger side needs a little repair, both need a good cleaning. these seats pull like a grand each  got for 150$ LOL

Tfw your local salvage yard knows prices and charges you what you'd sell them for online

they had put it out in the yard that morning, just came in at the perfect time to get the real stuff out of it before anyone knew

most yards around here are like that, even this yard on things. i think they must have got it cheap and the powerplant/drivetrain will make them more than enough money back, so they dont care as much about the rest

i just noticed i forgot the "l" in salvage
