Hello dear motorsport sf.

I heard I could buy and install nice leveling kit for my ford, to make it look better. Are those kits not so expensive and easy to install ? I believe it's something like 2'' front and nothing rear ? Or 3/1 ? Do I need a realigment on front end ? I have a lot of tools and my father's garage that I can use. No big lift or pit sadly.

Also, what's the biggest tire I could use with no cutting in the plastic pads ? I currently use the factory 17" mags with a 265/xx/r17. I'd like to buy nice 10ply allterrains with a slight size upgrade. Why ? Just so it looks a little bit more like a real truck. Nothing crazy, maybe just a 19" wheel or even keep the 17" with more rubber.

Also as bonus, I remember a thread about a new fashion with only the front lifted but can't find it:

I got my Chevy level kit from rough country. It said right in the description or the short video on how to do it what tools you'll need. Mostly abunch of different wrenches. Took a buddy and me 1.5 hrs to do it having never done one before..that was also on a chev truck..Prolly different on ur ford. Yes re-alignment is needed as the tire camber will be out. Also if you were going to get bigger tires some tire shops around here said free alignment with a purchase of tires just for warranty purposes, so you could save yourself like $140 on an alignment by getting it done when u purchase new tires. It will also most likely say in the description what size tire you can run after level kit. That said the chev one said I could run a 32" tire but looking thru gm forums lots of guys were saying I could run a 33" in there with no cutting, well I'm picking up the tires today and a buddy is mounting them tomorrow..hope they don't rub on me hah.

im assuming here, but your truck is 4wd i think

any of those 2 inch coil spacers will work fine. you can run up to 33's and shouldn't have any rubbing issues unless you stuff a tire

and yes, get your shit aligned after you do it.

i personally would stay with the 17's unless you have reason or desire to replace the wheels. even then i personally would probably stay with a 17, tons of tire options in that wheel size
