Hello everyone,
I will need/want a new motorcycle (can be 2-3 y/o used) for this summer's season.
I went trought some drive tests on Kawasaki, honda, yamaha and tested a few different models like the 450r, 450L, shadow, z1000, z750, zx1400, versys, er6n, vstar1100,xt250,gsxr750.
My decision is that I need a bike to go all around and not so expensive to insure etc (Quebec shit prices on insurance/plate -.- ). Something that allow me to be confortable on roads for 200-300 kms max and good in the forest on non-paved roads.
I came to the conclusion that I'd like something like a xr650 or 690 enduro. I do not plan to get something like the bmw gs or anything related.
I see that I can get a xr650L for cheap enought but I do not like the fact that it's a free air engine and would prefer something with a liquid cooled engine (like the r version).
Do you guys have suggestions on what to look at ? Do you owe something similar ? Do you ride a free air ?
