On my girlfriends truck her glovebox is broken, well sort of. The strike plate portion is completely missing because as you can see the mounting spot is broken. Obviously this makes it impossible for the glovebox to stay shut. Truck is a 1995 f150. I tried looking online to find a replacement but as you can imagine it's such an odd part no one seems to have them listed for sale.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?
I figured I'd ask for suggestions before I just fabricate something.

And I forget which one of you Always has a Lagunitas in their pictures but it influenced me at the liquor store last night to try it. Not really a fan of this one , any suggestions.

Since it's that odd of a part, no one is taking it from junk yards ?

Is this a piece you can grab out of a old cluster ?

I guess alot of these latch are the same so grab the piece, get to the closest junk yard and pick it up from any ford cars there.

Well that's what I would try before buying it for 75$ from factory.

There isn't s junkyard near me or id just do that. I guarantee I could find something If there was.
I'm not spending any significant money on this. A few bucks and I can make something that'll work, well hopefully.

Just wanted recommendations and any other possible options before I went down that road

they didnt sell to inbev.....

come on.. if you're going to bitch, at least know what you're bitching about

also, they sell has nothing to do with who or how their beer is made, litterly nothing has changed on that end.

the quality is the same, they are just able to expand and make more.

they still make a good beer.

you need to go to a good craft beer bottle shop and expand your horizons, if lagunitas is the best you have had, there is some stuff that will blow your fuckin mind.
