Is there any reason to use adhesive specifically marketed as emblem / trim adhesive, over other adhesives I may already own? Just curious if there's anything special about emblem / trim adhesive that I'm not aware of. Thanks in advance. :)

Just use a double sided 3M tape that is good when used on paint.

3M White double sided foam tape.
