i bought a 2012 c300 and unfortunately it came with no trunk lid :\. i've been looking at used OEM parts for my car and i came across a used lid but having trouble identifying the color.
the color of my car is "palladium silver metallic". can anyone tell me if this is the same color as my car?


also even if this is the right color, how would i install this? the 3M double sided tape was already used and peeled off. can i reattach 3M double sided tape?

3m red double sided will do the trick. Lowes or home depot carry it

so this is the auction i won on ebay, anyone think this part matches the color of my car?

The 3M VHB White foam will hold better on paint.

Take it out to your car and match it up,

yeah i actually got the used part for 75. the part new from mercedes or esc tuning is 300. regardless of paint matching or not i got a steal on the part. i just have to get it painted if its not the same color as my car. ill know soon enough, part should come by friday.

the spoiler is held on by tape? wth

also whatever the color code says your car is the spoiler will be the same color. there may be slight differences in the paint due to amount of weather the ebay part has seen vs what your vehicle has seen. used parts that are the same color wont always match but silver probably wont be able to notice it.
