so i have a 2000 audi a4-s4 quattro 5speed. ive done quite a bit to it since ive gotten it. garret gtw3684. forged h beam rods 8:1 JE pistons. ported and flow tested head.
stock crank. Je bearings and journals. eurotune stage 3 tune with 2 step and 3 programmable settings. on a nice cold day im running a consistant 24 psi and usually run a 11.8x
Id like to touch the 10s with this car and most everything ive read states that it will "never happen" with a stock bottom end 1.8t. my curiosity comes with whether or not
i should up the psi to perhaps 30 and risk blowing my head off the block. OR should i stud the block and run between a 75-150 shot WOT. i dont know which will be more affective.

and if i do swap turbos which would be better?

Define "affective" and maybe someone can make a recommendation.

I noticed the 20+ year old camaro with hoopty rims, in your profile. Do you have a pic of the Audi?

"hoopty" ls2 t56. yea let me tinypic it. and by effective what will cost less and do less damage. i know to get this sled in the 10s im gonna break alot more. than i already have. thats the list of upgrades that actually need mention, other non mentionables are obviously clutch axles lsds.

currently nothing. its strong. i just dont know how much more it will take. i would assume (super shot in the dark) im north of 360 awhp.
i just am trying to figure out if another 5-8 psi is more potentially damaging than a 75 shot.

And that is why I'm asking what the weak link is? What will break first? If it is detonation related run a methanol injection kit instead of nitrous and turn the boost up. If it is the crank then there isn't much you can do.
