I know yoh guys usually respond fast.

Let's say, I got no running lights, or dash or radio, I tested going backwards, and I have no power all the way up to the fuses and they don't even have power. Why is this? Would a bad ground cause this??

Fuses and relays are all in good working order. Just no power to any park lamp, illum, or int fuses.

But even if I had a bad ground say mid way from fuse to light, shouldn't my test light illuminate when I test the fuse? it still
technically has power running tthrough it, but then runs dead because it has no where to go. Or am I mistaken? And the power will Not travel the line BECAUSE it has no where to go?

Sorry I should know this shit, I'm just stumped atm. Last ttime I had a problem like this it was popping fuses as soon as you supplied power. Was much easier to trace.

what fuses are you checking?

In some cases running lights have a fuse under the hood as well. (in older cars, running, tail, dash and radio were usually on the same circuit under the hood)

A wiring diagram for the entire circuit is your best bet to track down where the broken wire, bad ground, or "issue" for lack of a better term exists. You can usually find this stuff on google

2000 Sierra. There are fuses under the hood and next to the steering wheel. In relation to my problems.

There Is just no power anywhere that has to do with those tails/dash lights. There's 4-5 related fuses iirc

my main question is, will a bad ground cause THAT? Or is that the cause of something els.

sounds like you should check where all these things come into one place, if theyre all bad it must be before the fuse block, check to see if you have a wire that's been damaged leading to the fuse block.
