To buy an automatic supra and then later on down the road swap a standard 2jz engine into it?

I'm planning on doing it because it seems as it would be cheaper...

A V160/V161 manual swap is like 8k in parts, and the car still isn't worth what a manual one is as its not original.

So go the extra 6-10k and just buy a standard one off the bat?
