Bought a 2nd Gen ram and the kid had just installed a 9" lift on it, never drove it too much besides testing it after doing all the work.

He threw in these new links with it as he had the old ones, which are probably a good 3-4" taller with the adjustable sleeve. I installed them the other day and just left the adjustment all the way backed off, but it left me wondering if there's a certain way to set these?

These new sway bars won't go as short as the old ones even if I wanted, which is where my problem lies.. Local parts guy can't help either.
I installed them, tightened them evenly and torqued to spec. Figured that's all I can do, but I'd rather be safe than sorry by asking incase im missing something

figure out what kind of lift kit it is and call them.....
