Hey gents

been trying to find out what the fck was making that annoying clunk since a couple days now

It only happens when i'm backing up from my driveway and go over the concrete curb, when driving in residential streets under like 25 mph, and when I arrive at my work's parking lot.

I get no noise when turning the wheel. I checked the front swaybar and endlinks, they have no play at all.

When I'm pushing the car from side to side, I hear a clunk, not sure if it's exaclty the same noise that I hear while driving but maybe u can tell me if it's normal or if it can be related...see vid:

Ill continue my research, figured i'd post here and see if anyone had the same issue, and could give some input.

Thanks.

Check top strut bearings, could also be a half shaft too.
Had a clunk once like this and it ended up being a bad front half shaft on my car.

Also the video is private so I couldn't see it

Well mine made no noise at high speeds, only at low speeds over bumps and when I rocked it side to side like you did.

All cars can react differently tho, mine was a vw.

ill check the swaybar bushings and endlinks with the car on the ground this evening

the noise it makes is very similar to the one in this video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRYfxRym-Kw&feature=player_embedded

and he fixed it with new swaybar bushings.

didnt look at pics or video but pushing car side to side and hearing clunking could be upper control arm bushings.

replace your endlinks, tighten your hub bolts from the strut, and tighten your top hats.
