01 c5z on the flat bed again
so i had my tranny rebuilt at the begining of the summer, had new mcleod rxt clutch/flywheel installed with tick performance master and new gm slave.
went down at the track saturday with the van and the vette i was gonna store my van for the winter and the storage is down the road from the track.
so i go for a pass w/o n2o , bad start i didnt lunch it hard enough ( bog of the line) the track was pretty sticky for cold condition.
try a second pass, get it down faster but still bad lunch
3rd pass i go for nitrous i lunch it hard enought and manage 11.7@123mph with a 1.8 60ft. im all happy thinking of geting that 60ft down and maybe getting closer to 11.5
so i go for a 4th pass...
so i start to burn on the pad but the car goes forward, so i stop and back up to do a proper burnout.
nothing happens.
i make sure i properlly engaged my gear slowly engage the clutch .... nothing, try reverse, nothing
no noise wat so ever, look under the car, nothing has exploded or is leaking.
so i push the car out of the pad with a budy we start the engine and listen closelly for any noise whyle trying to engage first or reverse.
no grinding and no moving. so yea im kinda bumed thinking of pulling the fucking drivetrain again.
ive been told that most likely my clutch hub has snapped its rivets.....i would of tough that some sort of noise would come from that
evertyhing from clutch pedal feel to my shifter feels normal
wat do you think my issue is? looks like w/e it is i still have to pull the whole fucking thing out, fucking sucks.
the car is stored il have to drive back there with some tools to start checking it out, might just change out the diff while everything is pulled even if thats not the issu
