A lot of Z guys are all butt hurt because of this build. A bunch of people are pissed that he "didn't turn a wrench himself"

Personally, thats bullshit - you don't have to build a car yourself to enjoy it. Sung looks thrilled.

That said, I just can't get behind the Rocket Bunny body kit - I think it's hideous

The interior work on the car is absolutely beautiful. They outsourced the work to Carbon Signal in Dubai.

When I heard they were doing some carbon stuff for the interior, I'll be honest, my first reaction was "Nooooooooooooo"

I was worried they were going for what I am. Carbon / alcantara two tone. Luckily their design ended up being "dry" carbon wrapped in suede, with little bits of carbon exposed - like the door handles. It actually takes the opposite theme as my carbon parts.....phew...the only thing that's almost identical is their center console. I can live with that. I still like my design better.

This brings more spotlight on the 240/s30 chassis. Again, some Z guys are upset, because this will correlate to higher prices and more demand, in the long run. But it also gets shops like Rocket Bunny, GReddy and more on board developing parts for these cars, as before you had very limited, to no options for "bolt on" aftermarket.

Since my car is basically done - as far as big/rare purchases go. I don't get upset by the market one bit. I just sit around and watch my car appreciate exponentially, each year.

There were two other 240zs at SEMA. OS Giken built one using their DOHC crossflow head - THAT build absolutely kicks the shit out of Sung's build. The DOHC setups on these cars are absolutely glorious.

There are bits of Sung's car that are really great- it's just not my cup 'o tea.

Agree with you all the way Andy.

I don't really see the point in being butt hurt over the guy not wrenching on it himself. At the very least, people can appreciate that he's not cutting any corners and sparing any expenses when it comes to building the damn thing.
Also with you on the same boat regarding the RB kit. Doesn't flow at all. The rears aren't so bad, but the fronts are terrible. (The back half towards the door doesn't follow the body line above it and it drives me nuts)

I remember the first time I saw that gear driven OS Giken head.. I couldn't get over it lol

I don't hate it, and I appreciate the craftsmanship, but yeah. The interior is GORGEOUS with its Spartan simplicity.

I'm not overly fussed with the rear flares, but agreed with Sly; the front flares don't flow with the lines of the car.

I wouldn't kick this outta bed, but it wouldn't be the first thing I'd approach at the club, nahmean?

I don't like how the rear flare goes into the door, but at the same time I don't think there really was another way to do it keeping the rocket bunny style. The cars do look better with a simple flare, but I still think its a good looking build.
