So on my way back home tonight
a deer popped in front of me.
Tried to avoid it as much as possible,
But was on the expressway going 71-72.
I veered left and hit it with my passenger headlights
Impact speed was around 45 (thanks brembos)
Even damaged my rear bumper somehow?

Sad sad day no issues in 6 years of ownership.
Never had to go through insurance before,
Any advice?

Insurance will most likely deem it totaled.

If you have stock parts to replace aftermarkets I'd start doing that asap unless you plan on buying it back.

I don't see that being totalled. unless the damage goes all the way back including the door and quarter panel OR airbags went off.
Anyways, sorry to see that happen too your evo buddy!

Time for voltex fenders and front bumper! hahaha

I'll check it tomorrow thoroughly.

From my quick look over:
Passenger fender
Headlight
Rear bumper
Hood

And this frame needs to be straightened

looks like your passenger mirror got broken off too

You'd be really lucky if they dont consider it totaled. If the frame is damaged it will be totaled.

Im assuming no air bags went off?

Correct, how fast is the insurance claim process?
Heard you can take the $ and find your own shop?
Would it be cheaper to find parts myself and have shop replace? Pocket rest of money?

Rip me only car I have atm need this resolved quickly before winter.

Evos don't like deer haha. My plate frame took the majority of the impact on mine at least.
