what are your plans?

get rid of that GT bar, they are ugly and provide a false sense of security, probably .088 wall at the most

well I'm going to build a 383 for it to replace the 305, little bit more lift, Thinkin about converting to manual

The interior is almost flawless, body is very close to flawless, has 4.56 gears, and it's got the deepest rims I've ever seen

The roll bar MIGHT come out, I mean I got 8 KC lights and the 6 light bar I made from my old F150 if it would look right

Muncie SM465

first - 6.55:1
second - 3.58:1
third - 1.70:1 if you see it listed as 1.57:1, they are wrong
fourth - 1.00:1
Reverse - 6.09:1

available from 1968 to 1991, the 88-91 versions had an aluminum top which makes it nicer to muscle around, and has a better feel

86 regular truck versions had hydraulic clutch release replacing the mechanical linkage.

if you buy one, use 50 weight fluid.

if you can make sure it doesn't pop out of third, some of them like to do that lol

there are 3 different output shafts, early 4 wheel drive was a short 10 spline, late 4 wheel drive was long 32 spline, and all 2 wheel drive were 35 spline

68-81 came with a np205, 81-89 came with a np208 (unless ordered with a 205), and 89-91 came with a np241

np205 is gear driven with a cast iron case 1.96:1 low range very strong
np208 is chain driven with a aluminum cased 2.6:1 low range (not good for rocks or applications where its going to drag/get hit )

if you have any questions let me know :D
