So I recently put my car up for trade because i want to get into building my own drift car but still have a resonable daily.

My car- http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=73215856&f=140 (If i were to sell i'd could easily get $5,500 from a few friends.)

I either wanted to trade for:
s13/14
miata
e30
wrx
sc300

My plan is to keep the Toyota truck as a daily for winter, paint the del sol and sell that for around $3,000.

Use the $3,000+ more into a shell and a swap and go from there.

Here's the offer:

1998 Toyota Tacoma
5spd. 4cyl 2.7L
Crank windows
162k and going up, its my daily driver
Interior doesn't have carpet, its rhinolined.
Rear quaters have small rust( I was gonna cut it out for bigger tires
Passsenger side fender is primered.
Its 2.5in body and 4.5 suspension lift
35s
Fresh oil change
New rear inner and outer axle seal and rear brakes
New NGK sparkplugs and wires
Front hub lockers
4x4 works like a dream
23mpg

1993 Honda del sol si
D16z6 5spd
Engine has 10miles on it since rebuilt (car isn't registered)
Doesn't smoke nor burn oil
Brand new ac system
Heat works really well
Power steering and everything else works
No check engine lights
New black housing headlights
Si wheels with newer tires (90% thread)
Skunk2 intake manifold and cold air
Front strut bar
Header/exhaust
Bluetooth radio
Carbon fiber top
Wing delete
Disk brakes all around
Super clean interior
Original zigzag floormats(rare for a del sol to still have)
Short shifter with weighted shift knob
Broadway mirror

Can't drift a house dog.

Out of the list I would go with s13:14 or the sc. Sc300 are cheaper to buy than the 240s 1jz are about as cheap if not cheaper than sr20.

Love the s13 hatches. Sc300's are hard to come by wheee im from, 240's are pretty accessible but come with a hefty drift tax.

Keep the civic and p.up as a DDs, sell Del Sol and use that for beginning of a drift car to beat on.

imo - the Civic will not lose value unless you beat the crap out of it. Their will always be a market for it. Its nice. Keep it.

I'd be trading the civic for truck + del sol.
